Over the next few weeks I'm meeting with various different groups of young people in different settings (young parents group, LGBT youth project, college, Devon Youth Parliament & voluntary youth provision). With each young person's & parental/career consent, film their views and suggestions about 'virtual online youth outreach & eParticipation':
(A selection of possible questions below. The questions will be asked in less formal language)
How online interventions should happen?
How to explain 'informed consent and confidentiality'
Should long e-mails be avoided and short film clips are the way forward?
Create adverts to promote local services; housing support, emergency contraception?
Do you gain support from friends online?
Do you think it's a good idea youth services - get "online" to offer advice and information?
What are your fears or concerns about youth practitioners - going 'online'?
I just wanted to open the opportunity to yourself - what would you ask?
Thanks for your contribution, Katie
